i find that pothos cuttings are pretty forgiving… i’ve potted up cuttings with barely a half inch of roots, or with several inches and either seems to work out the same for me… i’d go with whatever you’re most comfortable with.
i’d also consider making a cut just below the top set of roots (and above the lowest leaf), then you can plant both pieces as two separate cuttings (either in separate pots or in the same pot).
