Thank you, they are lovely.
I got six after Christmas that I am trying to rescue. I have about 20 or so in my outside garden, they bloom in May/June.

Jealous. Can’t plant them here in northern New Mexico, gotta bring pots in when it’s cold. Where are you located??

Very nice! Have you had any success with wax amaryllis after they’ve bloomed? I understand they are so weakened, they should just be tossed.

Thank you so much!

Lovely!! I was gifted a wax bulb amaryllis for Christmas and am trying to learn how to save it to regrow it. Says they are one time use and I’m like, nah, not throwing it out. Gotta bring it back to life somehow.

They are lovely, I grew a whole bed of them in Florida. The bulbs got to be enormous and put out a bunch of bulb-lets which I used to increase their number in my garden.
My faves are the white ones with stripes, I forget what they’re called, they do have a name. I really like how their flowers kinda sparkle in the sun.
When I left Florida and sold the house, I dug them all up and have them to my gardening friends bc my buyer wasn’t a gardener and I didn’t want them to languish.
Thx for the share, brings back good memories.
