The majority of peppers will be perennial with the right conditions. Reduce the length of artificial ‘daylight’. Yes you could pluck them out, but I wouldn’t bother. The plant will flourish with lengthening days in spring and flower again.

I don’t think they realise they’re supposed to be overwintering. Presumably enough heat and light to trick them into thinking it’s time to go? I’d embrace it personally.

Mine are doing this , I did intend to cut them back but have decided to do that in spring .. I don’t want to shock them in to dying etc 👍
