Thanks everyone, thought so too but was having a discussion with a friend about it who couldn’t see it and thought it was a weasel.
I’ve installed a camera to observe wildlife in my garden and haven’t had a badger so far. So this is a first – at least the first I’ve seen 😊

Might even go so far as to say a youngish male badger, but it’s a bit hard to tell from that. I can’t post a picture but if you freeze it at about 6.5 seconds you can see an ear that’s pointing out away from the long axis of the head stripes and the forehead is a bit domed rather than wedge-shaped. Once the males start fighting each other for dominance their whole head shape changes.

I love my camera. I’m capturing all sorts of cool activities! Scariest was a 10 foot spider! Till I figured out it was actually on the lens and may have appeared larger than it actually was.
