Ich habe meinen Kaktus (oder saftig? Idk.

All cactus are succulents but not all succulents are cactus.

Btw, your cactus seems to be rot or at least that’s what i think because the base looks dark.

The top should be fine, if you notice that inside it’s mushy, dark or damage you have to cut more. Let it dry and callous and then plant it in soil for succulents. Treat like a normal cactus and eventually gonna make its own roots.

    * Notice how the base it’s more thick than the top, that usually means etioled, it means your cactus needs more light as much as you can.

  2. Good idea bc it looks like the bottom is rotting. It’s cuddly cactus if you want to research anything about it

The reason why the top part is skinny and the rest of it is fat at the bottom is because it’s not getting enough light, it stretched out reaching for more light. The term is etiolation.

Mine did this too, even under a really good grow light.

Take cactus, make clean cut. Let callus for several days, it’s a cactus, it holds tons of water! Once callused properly, I usually wait at LEAST 4-5 days, it should be hard and dry where that callus is like a big scab. After that, you can either set it right on top of some well draining soil, vertical or horizontal, I think most cacti will root from the edges but be sure before you take any of my advice, and let it sit only watering very occasionally because they will rot if you over water! I give my cacti in ground months between watering, and they do great! The bottom is definitely rotting, but you may be able to save it! Depending on how deep the rot goes, if you cut it out and do the same as the other one there’s a good chance you’ll be able to root that too! You’ll know when they need water, as they’ll turn wrinkley and droopy looking.
